Outer Reef Dive and Snorkel Tour
The Tusa Dive day tour will take you to Snorkel and Dive the outer coral gardens on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Cruise in comfort on board custom-built catamaran, TUSA 6. With a selection of 16 amazing reef sites, your Captain will choose the two best, based on conditions that day. Limited guest numbers and Tusa’s friendly professional crew ensure your day is a special reef experience. Water level platforms allow divers and snorkelers to glide right from of the boat to the reef, with the days’ activities including guided snorkelling, certified diving, ‘first-time’ introductory diving, and marine talks.
Coral Sea Dive Adventure
Sleek, stylish and spacious, the ‘Spirit of Freedom’ is Australia’s most comfortably appointed live-aboard dive vessel. You will enjoy sumptuous chef prepared meals, comfortable lounge areas and sun decks, and spacious cabins with private bathrooms. Your Coral Sea Adventure commences with a one hour reef flight to Lizard Island, where you will join Spirit of Freedom. This day’s diving will be at the very top of the Ribbon reefs, at sites such as the Cod Hole and the Snake Pit, before overnight travel out to remote Opsrey Reef in the Coral Sea. Here you will experience an amazing undersea landscape of 3000ft walls laced with gorgonian fans, as schools of barracuda, sharks and manta rays cruise gently by. Combined with crystal clear water, this is spectacular diving at its best!
PADI Learn to Dive Course
If you are thinking about taking the plunge and learning to dive, the 5 day PADI “Open Water” dive course is your best option to become a certified scuba diver. The adventure of staying out on the reef for three days and two nights and the opportunity to do five extra pleasure dives makes this course unmatched for experience and value. This dive course option consists of two days of theory and pool training then a three day / two night liveaboard dive trip, including nine dives.

The 3 day 2 night liveaboard trip is an ideal way to do this and is unmatched for experience and value. You’ll get to stay out on the Outer Reef for 3 days and 2 nights on one of our 3 premium multi-million dollar dive boats and experience a wide variety of exclusive dive locations both during the day and at night. This liveaboard experience gives you much more time to relax and really enjoy your Great Barrier Reef dive adventure.
Advanced Liveaboard Diving
This course is the first step beyond basic or entry level certification. It will help develop your confidence and comfort underwater by expanding your existing skills. It also allows you to participate in dives up to 30 metres in depth. This course is conducted in conjunction with our three day two night trips and gives you a total of 11 dives (9 day and 2 night dives). These dives consist of five training dives and six recreational dives. The five training dives are made up of a deep, night and underwater navigation dive. The remaining two dives are chosen from a number of other dive topics (E.g. Underwater Photography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist and Boat Diving).
