Visit the award-winning Parnadana Wildlife Park on the way to the north coast and Snellings Beach, then the beautiful Stokes Bay and it's delightful secret. We finish the day with an excursion to the Lathami Conservation Park, home of the rare glossy black cockatoo, wallabies and the elusive echidna.
Full Day Kangaroo Island
for Seal Bay where your guide takes you on the beach for a fascinating
walk amongst the sea-lions, a colony of 600 bulls, cows and pups.
Afterwards, we take a morning tea break with home-made biscuits,
freshly ground coffee, and tea. On to spend a wonderful few hours in
the Island's largest park, Flinders Chase. We have the opportunity to
see an abundance of Australian native wildlife at Rocky River. From
there we drive through dense forest of eucalyptus and casuarina to
Admirals Arch and the colony of New Zealand fur seals. Later in the
afternoon, view koalas in their natural habitat before returning to
Island Life - Kangaroo Island This 4WD tour blends wildlife, landscape, food and wine. Get an introduction to Island life - where drivers wave as they go by or even stop for a chat. Have morning tea before taking a walk down a country path through gum trees where koalas snooze. Travel through farming country to the north coast and seek out endangered wallabies and a kangaroo found only on Kangaroo Island. Enjoy an elegant lunch featuring local fish, fresh salads and fine South Australian wines at a private bush location. At Seal Bay walk among sea lions on a sandy beach in a “Galapagos” style wildlife encounter.
